Write the address for the accommodation where you're staying, or take the business card and put it inside your passport. Then if you lose it someone will know how to get it to you. It’s also a good idea to have a local contact number with you in case of emergency eg friend, family or hotel.

Photograph your travel documents, all tickets, hotel reservations, insurance, passport and store on your phone incase you can't access the wifi. Check the visa requirements for the countries you are travelling to (as they vary).

Check the weather

Check the local weather at that time of year you're booking for before you book tickets. Also check the weather forecast before you go so you can bring the right clothing.
