I have been working with international visitors to New Zealand for more than 25 years, and have lived and worked overseas. I love travelling, making friends and showcasing New Zealand. Experience my passion and enthusiasm as you explore New Zealand with with me as your own personal guide.
I grew up on a farm near Thames, Coromandel with close connections to the land and the people. The Young family arrived in Russell, Bay of Islands with the first Governor General in 1840. The Youngs went on to survey much of New Zealand including the Young Range and Young River in the South Island.
Aotearoa New Zealand is my home and I love everything about it. However, I am a Kiwi with wings and love to get out and see the rest of the world. My background is in clothing, both retail and wholesale, then an English language school where I learnt to travel and meet people from all over the world and this led to Tourism which I love. I'm definitely well qualified to take you shopping, eating and travelling
More recently I have been taking small travel groups to South Korea and Japan. You can enjoy South Korea and Japan, meet the locals, feel like a local and have a culturally rich experience.
I enjoy sharing my knowledge and experiences of travel and culture of both Japan and South Korea. I have lived in Seoul and have travelled extensively in both Japan and South Korea. I spend 3 - 4 months every year based in Japan so it is the perfect opportunity to join me and travel. I have set dates for travel and am also available for you on your dates for 1 or up to 14 days. I hold a Small Passenger driving licence, a Transport Service Licence, a First Aid Certificate, am a NZ Pro Guide member and have completed the NZ Kiwi Host programme.

Whether you choose to walk or be driven you can be assured it will be at an enjoyable pace. I am flexible and love detours. Just relax, have a great day out and enjoy everything about the time we spend together. You can be assured you will see all the famous sights and also enjoy getting away from the busy places and exploring as the locals do.
